Unlike tattoos, henna does not hurt because there are no needles used and no skin is broken. Henna is applied to the top of the skin, and many people enjoy the coolness of the paste as it is painted on and the further cooling of the lemon sugar solution. Henna is a soothing mixture and conditions the skin.

How long does it last?

Design last anywhere from 5 to 10 days, sometimes more, depending on the part of the body, how frequently it is washed, as well as the type of skin.

What is Henna?

Henna Tattoo(Mehndi) is a long-lasting Body Art that has been a tradition in India, Pakistan, Morocco, and other parts of Northern Africa for 5000 years. Henna paste is made from the crushed up leaf of the henna plant, aromatic oils and lemon juice are then added to the powder to create a paste that can be applied to the body. It is a safe, natural way to beautify your skin and is 100% temporary.

What Colors is Henna?

Because it is made from a natural plant leaf, there are just a few natural Henna colors.
We offer our clients two types of henna:

• Indigo Based Black Henna: This henna is most popular for parties that want realistic looking tattoo designs, the color develops into a bluish/black and looks very similar to the color of a real tattoo.
  
• Reddish/Brown traditional Henna: This color Henna is great for parties where more traditional ethnic designs are wanted. Natural Henna color varies from a dark red, to a brownish color.

What if I am not having a party and I want to have an individual appointment?

We do private appointments in the South Beach area only. Private appointments start at $100.
The private appointment can be for small groups or just one person.
